Démodé was born with the wish from the founders to put everything they loved in a party in the beautiful scenery of Hôtel des Trois Couronnes, a historical 5-star property located on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Love, creativity, human connection, kindness, adventure, and sharing are all values that relate to Démodé.

PAPAGAIO DISCO CLUB

During this event, we’ll celebrate the legacy of Rio de Janeiro’s Papagaio Club (Founded in 1977) — a vibrant symbol of cultural fusion. Blending Brazilian, African, European influences, it embodied Brazil’s rich heritage through samba rhythms, festive spirit, and creative freedom.

Musically, we’ll dive back into the golden years of house music from iconic labels like Africanism and Faya Combo. A nostalgic take on classic house, infused with percussive and upbeat rhythms…

SHINE AS YOU ARE

Taking place only once a year, always on the last Saturday of October, when the night lasts one more hour, the Démodé party revisits a moment from the past, often connected to a geographical place, a famous discotheque, a musical movement with a disco house touch.

Guests are invited to dress in the style of the late 1970s, inspired by the vibrant looks of Brazil’s legendary Papagaio Disco Club. Celebrate the Démodé theme with a colorful—and why not, tropical—twist!

THE MAGICAL SIDE OF DÉMODÉ

All of our guests become friends. This is one of the magical sides of Démodé. The hotel is entirely transformed for the event. The best mixologists, make up artists, hairdressers, creative photobooths, outdoor food stands, and many surprises that change every year await you.

HOW TO JOIN US

Anyone can be invited at this private party as long as they share our values and make an effort to dress up in a creative way.

There are three ways to access our party:

1. Through one of our Ambassadors
Or
2. By telling us how you would like to come (outfit, persona, …). You can even send us a picture if you want.
Or
3. By explaining us what original touch you’ll bring to the party.

Remember, the party is all about freedom, creativity, and extravagance and class. The best ideas will be selected! Once your access has been approved, you can pay the entrance fee and you are in! And once you are in our guestlist, you will automatically get invited to next year's party - unless your behavior during the party did not meet our values. We can't wait to have you with us!
